Jennifer Lopez was originally born to her Puerto Rican mother and father in 1969. Lopez began taking dance classes in her early childhood. Lopez played an officer who was confused in Shades of Blue, a law enforcement procedural (2016-2018). In the Second Act (2018) she performed a comedy role as the woman who gets a covetable position at the Manhattan firm when her colleagues add their names to their resumes. Lopez joined the mainly female ensemble of Hustlers the film that focuses on strippers who plot against wealthy clients. Lopez was a part of two 2022 comedy films with a theme of marriage. In the movie Marry Me the protagonist, a budding pop artist, when she discovers that she's been cheated upon by her husband, decides to get married to a mathematician who attended her show.
