Following her win of a Theatre World Award for her appearance, she was later cast in a supporting role in a New York City Opera production of A Little Night Music, which was a musical composed by Stephen Sondheim. After that, she branched out into movies, and rose to notoriety as an actress thanks to her role as a character in Twilight. In this romantic fantasy film she was the girlfriend of the main character. The Twilight Saga New Moon saw her reprise the role. In the episodes of Fear Itself, Comedy Bang! and other shows she has appeared on television. Bang! Singer, too. Anna Kendrick sang a cover of the track Cups to soundtrack the film Pitch Perfect, appearing in the music video too.
